"Moon Womb"

Moon Womb celebrates the sacred union between the celestial and the earthly, the moon above and the woman's reproductive body below. At its center, a child rests in full gestation, held within the rhythm of lunar cycles that have guided birth and renewal since the beginning. The waves moving through the composition echo the pull of the ocean tides, that same lunar force that stirs the waters of the earth and the waters of the body alike. And the droplets descending from above are breast milk, nourishment flowing down as life flows out, the first gift of the mother. It is a meditation on creation itself, and on the deep kinship between a woman's body, the ocean, and the moon.
